Looking for a fun and relaxing evening in with your partner? Thai inspired couples massage classes are the perfect date night. During the session I will guide partners in a blend of Thai massage stretches and easy to learn massage techniques drawing on both my years of experience as a massage therapist and background studying Thai massage in Thailand.

In this two hour class you will learn step by step instruction on Thai inspired massage techniques including how much pressure to apply when massaging your partner and how to stretch your partner safely. At the end of this class, you will be able to ease the stress of your partner and relieve tight or sore muscles through massage in the comfort of your own home. Each couple will receive a guide to take home and practice. Aromatherapy will also be provided.

Yoga Nidra is a unique experience of relaxation and release. It is a soothing restorative meditation done lying down. You’ll be guided into conscious awareness of each part of the body for deep and effortless relaxation. Session begins with gentle breathwork and mantra, followed by a guided Yoga Nidra. Release physical, mental, and emotional tension and enjoy deep rest. Accessible for anybody!

Learn the basics of this breath-centered practice to calm body and mind. We will cover the groundwork of breath, movement, and form as we break down the practice of Half Primary Series. This workshop allows for more thorough explanation, and covers modifications to practice effectively and safely. Great for those curious of Ashtanga, or wanting a refresher of the basics. Class size is limited to allow for personalized attention and learning.

Healing through the chakras (with kate cherne)

The Chakras can be thought of as a system for self-knowledge and healing all their own. The system as we know it today was derived from the ancient Sanskrit text "Sat Chakra Nirupana." Our understanding of this energetic system has evolved in modern day, but ultimately offers a road for healing and self-realization. In this seven week series you will learn the basics of this energy system and how it influences your physical, mental and energetic heath. 

We will discuss the attributes and inner workings of each chakra one week at a time. Each session will include a short lecture on the chakra, discussion/reflection and end with a meditation practice to help integrate the energy of that chakra. Take home materials will be provided along with tools for self-reflection and self-study so that you can go deeper into the healing benefits of this system on your own.

Feel free to jump in for a full seven week self-study or join me for one or two sessions.   Pre-registration is REQUIRED to ensure enough materials.

breathwork meditation (with helen buron)

Gather to center and ground yourself, honor your emotions, and find clarity for what's true for you. Breathwork is an active meditation that uses the breath for releasing, processing, expansion, and transformation. The rhythmic pattern of the pranayama breathing with two inhales and one exhale gives our minds something to focus on so we may sink into our intuitive, feeling, and expressive bodies. In this group circle, you will be lying down in a supportive nest of other breathers and will be guided into the breath with affirmations and music by Helen Buron, an intuitive artist and energy healing practitioner.

Enjoy the benefits of both Restorative Yoga and essential oils in this unique workshop. Your nervous system will have the chance to completely relax in supported yoga postures meant to restore your system’s natural state of balance. Essential oils are a plant based medicine that offer many healing properties.  You will experience 1 essential oil with every Restorative Yoga posture.  Workshop will begin with 30 minutes of education about essential oils, followed by 1 hour of Restorative Yoga and ending with a 30 minute healing gong relaxation.

5 element self mastery training (with andrea sullivan)

This class is an interactive look into the qualities of the elements and their mental and spiritual strengths. 5 Element Qigong exercises can be used to restore health, balance the emotions, and empower you to tap into your greatest potential.  Each week we’ll explore a new element and it’s practices, organ system emotions and function. The movements use breathwork to generate energy-circulating it in the meridians and organ systems to increase vitality.

full moon releasing ceremony (with kate cherne)

When we embrace the energy of the moon we can harness it to get in touch with nature and our inner world. The energy of the full moon is yang; intense, illuminating and expansive. It’s the time in the lunar cycle to LET GO! For the Full Moon Releasing Ceremony, you will be provided materials to help you gauge where the full moon energy is hitting you hardest and where/what you need to let go of. Kate will lead a yoga practice and meditation (formats will vary depending on the energy of each moon) to help you release what needs to be released!
