River Garden Yoga Center offers a variety of morning, afternoon, and evening yoga and meditation classes for all levels of experience—from beginner to advanced. RGYC invites everyone, regardless of income, to experience the benefits of yoga and meditation. If you are experiencing financial hardships, please discuss with your teacher about their “open heart” policy. RGYC offers a variety of donation based classes—see classes for details.

Intro to Viniyoga (with Liz Lacy Gotz) 6-sessions
Is lifelong wellness your goal vs. a perfect body? Do you suffer from chronic pain in your lower back, neck or shoulders? Are you looking for a way to transform yourself, both physically and mentally? Are you ready to see the perfection and joy that already exists in you? If you answered YES to any of the above, it could be time to try viniyoga. Viniyoga is a gentle yoga practice that meets you where you are through adaptations of common poses along with slow, dynamic movements. Viniyoga can help you build your strength and confidence in movement, move away from unhealthy physical and mental patterns. Kundalini Yoga (with Channing Mckinley)
Join Channing in the sunlight of the upper studio for a daytime class of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan. Kundalini Yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. Through postures, meditation, breath work and mantra, this class will provide a vehicle to experience deeper connection with your inner wisdom and bring the fullness of the self into the present moment. “In Kundalini Yoga, the most important thing is your experience. Hatha Yoga (with anna Andaházy)
Hatha Yoga is a practice of balancing our sun/active (Ha) with moon/receptive (Tha) energies. This class will adjust in accordance with Ayurvedic understandings of seasonal and daylight fluctuations. You can expect various combinations of slow-flowing movement, steadily-held postural alignment, relaxation, breathwork, and mental concentration practices. Practitioners of all levels are welcome.

Ashtanga Yoga-Half Primary Series (with Kristin Mansch)
This 75-minute breath-centered practice creates internal heat to purify the body and calm the mind. The set sequence of postures, with continuous deep breathing, cleanse and align the body. Regular practice generates clarity, energy, ease, and improves one’s health and well-being.

Kundalini Yoga (with abby o’keefe)
Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is a yoga practice for everyone. It combines physical exercises, breathing techniques, mantra, and meditation to give you an experience of your true self. The technology of Kundalini Yoga is a science of the mind and body used to elevate the human spirit, reach a higher level of awareness, experience oneness, relieve stress and anxiety, strengthen the nervous system, and cultivate inner peace and stillness.

New Moon Intention Setting (with kate cherne)
The new moon is a time of quiet, introspection and intention setting. We often think of the lunar cycle in relationship to the full moon because it has such an obviously powerful energy. The new moon is as potent but in a yin, feminine kind of way. This New Moon Intention setting class will give you space and support to set your intention for the current lunar cycle. In this 75 minute practice, you will be guided and offered hatha based flow to guide energy (prana) towards your intention.
