Thai Bodywork by Molly

A relaxing /meditative form of body work performed fully clothed on a cushioned mat on the floor. Molly uses her hands, elbows, feet and knees to stretch your muscles, relieve your aching hips and shoulders, and provide you with a long lasting sense of profound relaxation.

Molly received her Thai Bodywork training in the historical city of Chiang Mai, Thailand in 2003, and has been practicing the art since her return home from Asia.
Her recent completion of her master’s degree in occupational therapy, in addition to ten years of teaching / practicing yoga, and professional dance experience enrich her skills as an intuitive, and clinically informed Thai Bodywork practitioner.
  Molly also enjoys dancing, world/local travel, taking/teaching yoga classes and being involved with a variety of creative projects. She currently resides in the metro area with her significant other.

Private Sessions

Private sessions last 1.5 hours and are customized to meet your specific needs. You will leave feeling rejuvenated and focused. Initial session includes a complimentary health interview.

Couples Massage

An enjoyable way to increase you and your partner’s health. Molly will guide you through a series of poses to share for a life time of enjoyment. Sessions will be relaxing, informative with attention given to breath, and awareness of each other. Each person will have the opportunity to receive bodywork from Molly and or give to each other.

Workshops

Workshops provide a fun way to learn basic information about the art of Thai Bodywork. Participants are guided through a series of 6-10 poses, in which they will have the opportunity to both give and receive bodywork form their partner and/ or other group members. Attention is given to anatomical markers, modifications for different body types, and safety. Hosting a workshop is a great and unique group activity that enhances trust, unity and educational awareness about the body. A great alternative for bachelorette, birthday, staff parties and special occasions. Participant will leave with a new skill, and a complimentary instructional pamphlet.

Tips for Receiving Thai Bodywork

Wear comfortable clothing that cover your legs, arms, and middrift.
Sustain from eating one hour prior to your session.
Relax and allow the practitioner to do the work.
Breath slowly and mindfully throughout your session.
